New Website

An updated website has just been put online.

Wiki Wiki Web

It is based on the GNU Public Licensed PmWiki Wiki software, which provides a method for collaborative website administration.

Extract from PmWiki:

PmWiki pages look and act like normal web pages, except they have an "Edit" link that makes it easy to modify existing pages and add new pages into the website, using basic editing rules. You do not need to know or use any HTML or CSS. Page editing can be left open to the public or restricted to small groups of authors.

What does this mean as a CREC Member?

Members of the CREC should contact Eileen for a Username and Password that will provide access to private collaborative areas of the site. As a Member, you can help to add to the websites knowledge base by writing and modifying articles - doing so is simple and with a full revision history for every page, any change can also be undone.

Suggestions

The motivation for the website change is to allow for new content to be added more readily. If you would like to see any new features or articles, please don't hesitate to Let us Know.
